Hi all, sharing this cool summit on behalf of our friends. If you have any questions, please reach out to [email protected].

The Wildlife Conservation Drones & Technologies Summit is a first-of-its-kind world summit focusing on drones and technologies for wildlife conservation and management that will provide educational and training opportunities through a program of symposia, contributed papers, posters, workshops, and more. This World Summit strives to enhance the knowledge and technical capabilities of wildlife professionals in the safe, ethical, legal, and professional use of drones and other technologies in wildlife management, research, and conservation.

  • Hear about the latest wildlife conservation and research utilizing drones and other state-of-the-art technologies
  • Learn about current conservation and monitoring technologies such as connected surveillance cameras, wireless networking connecting a wide variety of sensors, and domain awareness systems such as SMART and EarthRanger
  • Receive hands-on training with various drone platforms, sensors, pre-and post-flight data software and procedures, and flight techniques
  • BYOD - Bring your own drone to fly the scenarios and NIST course.
See and ‘test drive’ firsthand the latest drone platforms, software, and sensors from the leading drone vendors

A UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY

Drone and tech industry leaders will demonstrate their wares and give hands-on workshops on how to use them at a location where real-time field testing could take place! Presentations from field biologists presenting proof-of-concept use for drones in the field will provide opportunities for other wildlife biologists to discuss and collaborate on similar projects or new, untested ideas.

This Summit will be a unique opportunity for both the tech and wildlife conservation communities to build an alliance for collaboration that would influence global wildlife conservation at one location at Reveille Peak Ranch in Burnet, Texas!
