This role will be based in the Connected Environments Lab at The Bartlett at UCL East. The post holder will support the teaching of the Internet of Things, prototyping, and virtual reality / augmented reality, through technical support and experimental demonstrations. The post holder will provide training and assistance to staff and students in the use and application of equipment and techniques that would be commonplace in a community workshop or “makerspace”. The post holder will work closely with technical and academic staff. They will support the maintenance and development of the Connected Environments lab, a light fabrication workshop, and a broader Urban Living lab in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
