Data Science looks to create models that capture the underlying patterns of complex systems, and codify those models into working applications. The volume of data available for conservation applications is growing, both through the increasingly commonplace deployment of technologies such as sensor arrays and by the growing accessibility of large datasets. Data science looks to take this data from raw to relevant.
