Hi folks,
Just wanted to share this very cool and relevant three-day event, Smart Oceans 2020! It's a free conference focusing on ocean innovations and collaborations to solve big challenges, including sustainable fishing issues. It'll take place October 5-9, and registration is open for everyone!
There are quite a few sessions that will be interesting to this community, including:
- New Tools: Big Data, ML, Visualizations, DB | How can emerging tools help?
- Data+Observation: Making Sense of What We Already Have
- Sensing + IoT: What new data needs to be collected that doesn’t exist already?
- Policy + Sustainability, From Data to Action: What opportunities exist for fisheries, equity, coastal environments, and energy?
You can view the full program schedule here.
If you're interested in registering (for free!), get started here!
Cheers,
Ellie
