Just wanted to share this really interesting conversation happening over in the FIT group:

Thinking Outside the Box: Using FIT for Box Turtle Shell ID

We're chatting about how this identification algorithm originally designed for use on paw prints is now being used to identify individual turtles by shell pattern. We're thinking about how this tool could be applied to other species to prevent poaching and identify at-risk populations. Would love to have input from all of you! Please come join us!
