Looking for opportunity to visit conservationists in Uganda

Hello

Some time ago I got involved with the development of a new type of wildlife tracker to help detect wildlife persecution of raptors in Scotland. When looking to take this to the wider world of wildlife persecution, for instance in some parts of Africa, I soon realized that I was lacking a lot of basic understanding and first- Hand experience of the environment conservationists are working in.

Right now I am visiting Uganda on vacation and will be here until the end of October 2019. I realize it is a far shot and at short notice, too, but I would be very keen to hear from any conservationists working here at the moment (or have an ongoing project looked after by others) that I could visit. It would help me greatly getting a much better understanding of the environmental and other challenges that any tracking equipment and its users have to handle.

Many thanks,

Joachim Neff
