The SMART Partnership is hosting a regional Training of Trainers focused on advanced SMART use this upcoming January 14-18, 2019 in Lusaka, Zambia.

We have a few open places for additional participants, which we are opening up to the global SMART community. Specific details on the training are below.

Logistics:

• Location: Sandy’s Creations Resort in Lusaka, Zambia (www.sandyscreations.net).
  • Participant costs will be ~$100/night/person, including all meals.
  • There is no additional fee for participation in the training.
• Dates: Monday, 14th through Friday, 18th January, 2019
  • The training will run Monday-Friday, but participants are expected to arrive on Sunday the 13th and depart either the evening of Friday the 18th or on Saturday the 19th)
  • Participants are invited to participate in a game drive and brai on the final day at no additional cost.
• Course Curriculum:
  • Will be for users that are already familiar with basic SMART functionality – covering items such as advanced data analysis and reporting and recent SMART functionalities (Connect, Profiles, R scripts, etc.)
• Participation Support: Participants are expected to self-support their participation.
  • Financial support may be available for those that need it, but this is not guaranteed and pending availability. Preference will also likely be given to those who can self-support
