Postdoc: Biologging & Behavioral Ecology of Marine Mammals

 Under the direction of Dr. Ari Friedlaender, the postdoc will conduct field work & manage data analysis related to ongoing biologging projects in the lab. The lab is currently active in long-term ecological research on baleen whales in the Antarctic in relation to climate change & foraging behavior of baleen whales in Monterey Bay.

"The successful candidate will conduct field work associated with other new research projects and will be expected to generate original research proposals to increase the scope of research in the lab. The successful candidate will be expected to lead data analysis, prepare scientific manuscripts, and mentor graduate and undergraduate students in the use of biologging instruments as well as data processing and analysis.
