The Bat Conservation Trust is offering two online thermal imaging courses: a 6 week basics course and a year long programme.

Thermal Imaging Basics

Duration: 6 weeks

"In this introductory level online course, we will show how you can improve your wildlife detection using thermal imaging.

This six week online course is designed for wildlife enthusiasts and professionals who want to see or hear more of wildlife. This is an online course comprising 6 sessions and includes a high level of student and teacher engagement as well as dynamic exercises and lots of useful resources. It is delivered in line with the Thermal Imaging: Bat Survey Guidelines."

Thermal Imaging for Wildlife Applications - Advanced

Duration: 12 months

Cost: £1500 (discounts available)

Upcoming dates: running from Tuesday 20 April 2021

"This 12 month online training programme is designed for consultant ecologists and wildlife professionals who would like to improve their wildlife detection or survey accuracy.

The programme has been developed by Dr Kayleigh Fawcett Williams of Wildlifetek in line with the Thermal Imaging Bat Survey Guidelines and profits are shared by BCT and Wildlifetek.

We will work with you to help you complete your Training Checklist from the Thermal Imaging Bat Survey Guidelines during this course (subject to satisfactory completion, this will then be signed off by your Course Tutor)."
