I am the Program Manager for the SMART (Spatial Monitoring and Reporting Tool) Partnership based at Wildlife Conservation Society at the Bronx Zoo. In that role, I support and contribute to the development of SMART software, coordinate and support SMART Partnership activities, and ensure the effectiveness of SMART-based conservation initiatives. Check out the 2016 SMART Partnership Annual Report here!
Apart from my work with SMART, I am also a Research Associate with the the Bioko Biodiversity Protection Program (BBPP), where my research focuses on the drivers and dynamics of bushmeat consumption in Central Africa, monitoring wildlife populations (especially primates and birds), quantifying the impact of human activities on wildlife populations, and developing data-driven interventions to more effectively conserve biodiversity.
