Hey there! My name’s Elliot and I’m a changemaker and conservationist living in sunny Sydney, AU. For the past two years, I’ve been volunteering for some two dozen environmental organizations both locally and globally, learning a whole plethora of new skills and making plenty of connections along the way. This June, I set up an international NGO by the name of Human Nature Projects, which currently involved 1000 volunteers across 100 countries. The idea is to remove the isolation, the elitism, the reclusivity from environmental pursuits through the creation of a conservation community. We support young leaders to envision their ideas, bring support where it is most needed, and have heaps of fun along the way!!
In other pursuits, I’m an Ambassador to CoalitionWILD, Tunza Eco-Generation, HundrED, GARN’s Youth Circle and the Lawrence Anthony Earth Institute. I’m part of Jane Goodall Institute Aus’ National Youth Leadership Council, an IUCN CEC member, Country Mobilizer for Youth for our Planet, and Assistant Country Director for Global Peace Chain. My ultimate goal is to act as a voice for the voiceless, promoting a shifting of the societal paradigm towards peaceful coexistence for all lifeforms in the prosperous future we all aspire towards.
I’m 16 years old and this is what I have achieved, but it hasn’t been easy. WILDLabs represents countless others like myself aspiring to bring about their own visions for the world, and I am infinitely grateful to them for the work they do in this respect. I’m often told that the world needs more people like me, but I would disagree most vehemently. There are already countless other young leaders waiting for their chance to save the world- it falls upon organizations like WILDLabs to empower them to do so, and thus I hope our forces can combine in creating a brighter future together.
