WILDLABS State of Conservation Tech Survey 2021

Last year, WILDLABS evolved our annual community survey into a comprehensive assessment of the State of Conservation Technology, which will be published in the coming weeks. Take the 2021 survey to help us build from this 2020 baseline to track trends and shape the future of our rapidly evolving community and sector.

About the research

In 2020, WILDLABS partnered with researchers at Colorado State University to evolve our annual survey into a comprehensive assessment of the State of Conservation Technology

Our work - which includes triangulating survey findings through focus group discussions with 50 leading experts - has been accepted for publication with Conservation Biology, and will be available in the coming weeks. Alongside our academic publication, we will also be launching a public web report, which will allow you to explore more of the rich data that the community has helped us collate through this work.

Our goal now is to build from our 2020 baseline and collect a longitudinal dataset that tracks trends and helps shape the future of the rapidly evolving conservation technology sector.

To do this, we need your help. Please take a few minutes to complete this year's questionnaire and share it widely throughout your networks - the broader diversity of individuals we reach, the better we can capture where conservation technology really stands and what is needed.

State of Conservation Tech Survey 2021

Survey details

In this survey, we'll be asking for your thoughts on the technologies you work with, as well as broader questions on challenges facing the conservation technology ecosystem and opportunities for addressing them. We have also added a few questions to help us better capture what the conservation tech market looks like.

As always, this survey is also your opportunity to tell us about your experiences engaging with the WILDLABS community. We want to know what aspects of our platform and programming you find valuable, how they contribute to your work, and what you would like to see us prioritize for the future.

The survey is designed to take about 15 minutes to complete. Please keep in mind that your participation is voluntary and that your responses will remain confidential. Follow the link below to access the survey and consent information, and let us know if you have any questions.

Thank you for your help!
