Eurasian Otter Workshop to highlight Conservation Planning, Threats, and Research Advances for Monitoring Otter Populations

The IUCN Otter Specialist Group is hosting a Virtual Eurasian Otter Workshop on 26-28.February.2021. There will be invited talks and discussion from international otter experts on three main topics: Conservation Planning, Threats, and Research Advances for Monitoring Otter Populations. For the Monitoring session, there are talks on use of environmental DNA techniques, Footprint Identification Technology, monitoring a population on Kinmen Island in China, and use of camera traps.
