Overview  

An open-source data collection app useing icons to overcome language barriers when collecting information on wildlife crime. A collaboration between ZSL and ExCiteS aiming to provide a way for indigenous Baka hunter-gatherers and Bantu farming communities to report information in the forests of Cameroon. Key difficulties include interface interactions/lack of familiarity with touchscreens. Records are stored on the phone's SD card and automatically transmitted by connection to the GeoKey Server, this can be problematic in a rural rainforest environment.
