BirdNET-Analyzer is a research platform created by the Cornell Lab of Ornithology and Chemitz University of Technology that enables the detection and classification of avian sounds using machine learning. It is a research platform that supports various hardware and operating systems such as Arduino microcontrollers, the Raspberry Pi, smartphones, web browsers, workstation PCs, and even cloud services. The current BirdNET-Analyzer model: V2.4 can currently identify more than 6000 of the world’s most common bird species with more species to be added in the near future.
